ASRA took the intervention initially from the non-formal education for the slum Children. The team member divided responsibility and they start non formal education through indoor and out door games, Stories, some cultural programme at slum and block level.

Activities

• Survey work of dropout students for the District Education department Dewas in all blocks, 3000 students were interviewed.
• Teachers Training has been given to approx 150 teachers which was sponsored by District Education department Dewas.
• IEC activities like Skit plays, video shows, rallies, etc have been conducted to raise the awareness among rural communities as well as slums in regards to education

Activities

• Solid West Management program has been conducted among approx 60 slums of the Dewas district which was sponsored by Nagar Palika Nigam, Dewas MP
• Organized the skit plays to make the communities sensitized towards the environment and how we continuously harming through our bad practices.
• Conducted the workshops and seminars to explore the future hazards of ignoring environment protections and conservations 
• Participated in Rajive Ghandhi Water Shad Mission as facilitator of the water Shad IEC programs   

Monitoring and evaluation of PMGSY...

• Worked with the MPRRDA (Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority ), we have been selected for the conducting impact study of “MP Gramin Sadak Yojna” for 3 years (independent monitoring and evaluation for Land Acquisition Plan LAP and IPDPs (Indigenous People Development Plan) in whole MP, which was sponsored by ADB (Asian Development Bank)
• Approx 5000 families and 35000 people linked with organization
• Approx 4700 people were given vocational, technical and basic trainings in last 3 years and out of which around 1500 people have their own livelihood due to the training given.
